1- ABC Carpet & Home
Back in 1961, Jerome Weinrib opened this space in Broadway as just a carpet store. Nowadays, and with the renovation from his daughter Paulette Cole, the store has six floors of furniture, lighting and accessories.
2 – Aero
With a new location on New York District Centre, this shop has home items hand-selected by (and some designed by) Thomas O’Brien himself. A great store with a connection with one of the best interior designers of the city
3 – Alt for Living
The love for travel and vintage pieces meet in this showroom that is mostly composed of textile rugs, wallpapers, and custom lighting.
4 – BBW Handmade American Furniture
BDDW is a small American furniture company dedicated to the creation of well crafted timeless designs. Tyler Hays, a painter and sculptor, is the company founder and head designer. BDDW is known for their heirloom quality solid wood furniture, traditionally joined, in select domestic hardwoods. Their finishes are all hand-rubbed with natural oils and lacquers. BDDW is a small company that makes its furniture by hand in their Williamsburg Brooklyn studio. The workshop is run by Joshua Vogel, who is trained as an architect, and insists on the finest materials and methods, such as solid domestic hardwoods, traditional joinery and hand-rubbed finishes in natural oils and lacquers.
5 – Bunny Williams Home
Though Treillage, the cherished Upper East Side shop Bunny Williams ran with her husband, John Rosselli, closed in the spring of 2015, store owner is not a thing of the past for Williams. A few months later the AD100 designer opened her first eponymous showroom in the Fine Arts Building, where she displays her various home lines alongside vintage and antique treasures.

7 – David Sutherland New York
David Sutherland Showroom is one of the best showrooms in New York City. They provide a full-service, multi-line collection of the finest furniture, fabric and accessory manufacturers from around the world! With two locations in NYC alone, they showcase pieces from Perennials, Sutherland, Blackman Cruz, Mattaliano, Michael Fogg, Ochre, Pavoni, Ricci Studio and Ron Dier Design, to mention just a few. Their space is a design inspiration and a great visit for all the interior design lovers.
8 – DDC New York City
DDC NYC (Domus Design Collection) is a luxurious, contemporary furniture shop filled with pieces to swoon over. DDC showcases over a hundred designers, mostly European imports. It is claimed to be a designer’s paradise and one of NYC’s shopping secret.
9 – Flair Home Collection
Flair Home Collection showcases a wide variety of luxury design pieces, both contemporary and vintage. Their curated ambience is a true design inspiration. They select European and North-American design pieces with a vintage flair and combine them with their own unique and timeless creations. 10 – Goyard
A slew of wildly coloured trunks appeared on the Upper East Side as French luggage brand Goyard set up its first New York shop in a stately townhouse on East 63rd Street that once housed Charlotte Moss’s beloved boutique. With parquet floors, brass-trimmed mahogany and glass cabinets, and archival Braquenié carpeting, the space maintain the feel of Goyard’s original 19th-century shop in Paris.

11 – Hudson Furniture
Hudson Furniture, the New York furnishings and lighting company, moved to a 25,000-square-foot home in Chelsea, giving its high-octane designs even more room to breathe. In the lofty space, decorative moldings and stately Corinthian columns are paired with rugged concrete floors and cement-gray plaster walls. The rough-meets-refined look is fitting, considering Hudson’s hallmarks: chandeliers draped with metal chains, Nakashima-esque wood tables, and plenty of polished bronze and brass.

The Spanish brand Porcelanosa, purveyors of wall tile, flooring, and assorted kitchen and bath fixtures, tapped Pritzker Prize-winning architect Sir Norman Foster and his firm, Foster + Partners, to devise its first Manhattan flagship in a 1918 landmark by architects Ely Jacques Kahn and Albert Buchman that overlooks Madison Square Park.
18 – Ralph Pucci

What began as a family business in the 1950s has grown to be an internationally loved brand with spaces not only in New York but also in Miami and Los Angeles. When book publisher Rizzoli shuttered its fantastically old-school midtown shop, book lovers across town mourned the loss. But to much relief, its new location 30 blocks south proved to be just as crowd-pleasing as its predecessor. Designed by AD100 architecture firm Ike Kligerman Barkley, the shop is bedecked in custom Fornasetti wallpaper murals, black-and-white stone floors, and bookcases salvaged from the original 57th Street location.
20 – Saks Fifth Avenue
Saks Fifth Avenue is an American luxury department store chain in Midtown Manhattan. One of the most famous stores in the city of lights…but also in the entire world. As a luxury department, it also sells…luxury furniture!
21 – Taffin
Jeweler James Taffin de Givenchy opened an exquisite showroom and workshop on the 25th floor of a Madison Avenue office tower, displaying his dazzling confections amid rare antiques and his personal collections.
22 – The Rug Company
The London-based floor coverings giant The Rug Company moved less than a block down East 59th Street into a snug new space that plays host to its revolving cast of rugs by fashion designers such as Paul Smith, Diane von Furstenberg and Alexander McQueen.
23 – Totokaelo
Seattle-based fashion brand Totokaelo opened its first East Coast flagship in New York’s SoHo neighbourhood. In the intensely architectural space—once the home and studio of sculptor Arturo Di Modica—the brand’s avant-garde selection of fashion hangs among a fascinating mix of vintage 20th-century chairs, collected by founder Jill Wenger from eBay dealers and flea markets across Europe.
24 – Voce Di
Voce Di is a 5000 sq. feet showroom in new york, design centre and contemporary gallery that brings design, art and furniture together, in Soho. Canadian accessories brand WANT Les Essentiels opened its first boutique stateside in New York’s West Village. In the homey boutique, their structured leather goods mix with contemporary ready to wear and expertly appointed vintage and contemporary furnishings.
26 – Zak + Fox
Textile designer Zak Profera of Zak + Fox opened a new studio and showroom on West 26th Street filled with his graphic fabrics, exotic rugs collected from around the world, and an eclectic mix of vintage and antique furnishings.
