Nike Kicks Off 2021 With The All-New Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Rust Shadow”
Who would’ve thought the world’s most coveted pair of sneakers were once banned on the courts of the National Basketball Association for not meeting the league’s stringent policy on uniforms and colors. Costing Nike a $5,000-per-game fine, the silhouette which superstar player Michael Jordan rocked all the way to his Rookie of the Year honor, has since been honored a multitude of times in the form of an iconic Retro 1 series.
Presenting arguably the best designs, the Retro 1 series is set to take yet another year by storm with an all-new High-top Air Jordan. Dubbed the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Rust Shadow”, this sneaker builds on an already popular “Black/Light Smoke Grey/White” color scheme with an unique pervasive copper-like detail throughout.
Worth approximately USD $170, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Rust Shadow” features a tumbled black leather base paired with faded gray elements along the heel and collar, plus rusted Nike logos across the eyelets, forefoot, and main body. Offset by a clean white midsole and a contrasting black rubber outsole, the all new Jordan 1 Retro sneaker is expected to drop in the coming months.
