    Blainey North & Associates Reivent This Baglietto Superyacht Interiors

    Subverting traditional yacht design, the 54-metre Baglietto Superyacht, Mischief, was reimagined by Blainey North, breaking down the historical conventions of maritime interiors. Gone are the traditional navy hues, and instead are replaced with a dramatic Yves Klein ultramarine blue.

    Blainey North shrouded the austere Asian timber interior in white lacquer and marble, creating a new canvas for the colour scheme. Shifting the typical blue and white interior aesthetic into a more contemporary and artistic space. Alike the philosophies of Yves Klein and Mark Rothko, the power of colour proves to evoke an emotional response from its viewer and the specific blue tone used to induce both excitement and relaxation.
